What’s in a name – why ‘Parachute’?
Therapy is an active process so it was important to choose a name that reflects a dynamic state. Parachutes are colourful and fun which represents the child-centred and creative therapeutic practices that Kate values in her work. Parachutes are designed to break your fall – they are the difference between hurtling towards the ground and floating above it, enjoying the view.
At Parachute Therapy and Wellbeing we want children and young people to have the support and skills they need to guide themselves to a safe and gentle landing.
